Neetu Kapoor recently revealed that late Rishi Kapoor’s most cherished desire was to see Ranbir Kapoor getting married.
In an interview with a news portal, Neetu reportedly revealed two of Rishi Kapoor’s most cherished desires. On was to see Ranbir Kapoor wearing a turban with an emerald and a broach in the Peshawari tradition, astride a horse on his wedding day.
Elaborating further, she also added that another desire was to see their KrishnaRaj house redeveloped and complete, with three separate apartments for Riddhima, Ranbir and them. Neetu also revealed that Rishi would visit the site every day and supervise minute details till COVID-19 happened.
Spilling the beans on how tough it has been without him, Neetu reportedly said that it was very tough, especially the first six months. She recalled being unable to sleep and losing her confidence. It was at that time that she was offered ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. She also graced various reality shows which helped her build her self-esteem. The veteran actress also added that her children knew what she was going through and they encouraged her to work again.
She also went on to clarify that she hasn’t returned to films for fame or money. According to her, she needed to divert herself in some other direction because she did not want to be alone. The work kept her occupied.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently dating Alia Bhatt for a long time now. The actress has also fit into the Kapoor family like a glove already. Although reports of their impending marriage do rounds on the social media, there has been no confirmation on the same.
Rishi Kapoor, who passed away in 2020, would have celebrated his 69th birthday today.
