NEW DELHI: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Director (Law) in Group-B of Odisha Secretariat Service under Home Department.

Candidates should note that online applications submitted to the OPSC, if found to be incomplete in any respect are likely to be rejected by the Commission.
Only those candidates, who are within the prescribed age limit and fulfil the requisite qualification etc. by the closing date of submission of online application will be considered eligible.

OPSC Asst. Director (Law) Recruitment: Age Limit

A candidate must have attained the age of 23 years and must not be above the age of 35 years as on January 1, 2021 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than January 2, 1986 and not later than January 1, 1998,

OPSC Asst. Director (Law) Recruitment: Educational Qualification
A candidate must have possessed Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised University and have knowledge in Computer Application on the date of application.

OPSC Asst. Director (Law) Recruitment: Examination Fee

A candidate is required to pay non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs 500/- only. Candidates belonging to SC and ST of Odisha and PwD are exempted from payment of this fee.

OPSC Asst. Director (Law) Recruitment: Method of selection

The examination will be conducted in the following successive stages:-

Written examination – 360 marks

Skill Test in Computer Application (practical) – 40 marks Viva Voce Test – 50 marks

The qualifying mark for written examination is 45% for UR & SEBC candidates and 40% for SC & ST category candidates in each paper.
